Alice MacDonald
Consultant

Alice is an experienced Diversity, Equity and Inclusion specialist. She started her career in research, leading large scale research projects to uncover the barriers minoritised groups face in the workplace, and applied this research to ensure organisations were making evidence-based inclusion interventions to drive measurable change.
Alice has worked with complex organisations to create global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies. This includes working across different teams to create cutting-edge learnings on the topics of anti-racism, mitigating microaggressions, LGBTQ+ inclusion and neurodiversity, recruitment, wellbeing, and much more.
Most recently at the British Red Cross, Alice operationalised an ambitious equity, diversity and inclusion strategy for 4000 staff members and 30,000 volunteers.
Alice is an accomplished event panellist, speaker, and author of thought leadership pieces around inclusive language and why diversity targets shouldn’t be the end goal of organisation’s DE&I efforts.
Alice’s approach to DE&I is grounded in trauma-informed approaches, co-production and compassion, whilst being data and research driven.
