FAIRER Consulting recently provided "Let’s Talk About Race" training, and I am immensely grateful to our Consultant for facilitating this transformative experience. Age UK commissioned FAIRER Consulting to develop Conscious Inclusion Training for all staff levels. This bespoke training allowed the organisation to explore deeper into its recruitment and retention of employees from diverse backgrounds. The training provided staff with the necessary tools and resources to apply their learnings in their day-to-day roles, further embedding DEI in the charity's recruitment and retention strategy.

Our Consultant ran confidential listening groups so we could get an independent view of our culture, in particular on inclusivity. They facilitated the discussions very sensitively and professionally and fed back the key findings to our Senior Leaders. Their approach, tone and balance in the relaying of feedback supported a healthy, constructive discussion. Two years on and we still talk about some of the key findings, in a way that makes us more mindful of our approach.

Our Consultant supported the HR team in working with a couple of individuals in making them more aware of their behaviour – this shifted perspectives in a tangible way.
