If you join us what exactly will you be doing? - The role
We are looking to fill an events management role in our growing Consultancy business. You will support a busy Marketing team in a range of tasks as outlined below:
- We have a busy events schedule already planned for this year including webinars, seminars, workshops, exhibitions and conferences – both inhouse and via partners. We are involved in between 5-15 events per month. Some we are organising in their entirety, others we are attending as sponsor, speaker or host. You will support and deliver these onsite and online events, ensuring these meet time, budget and other delegated targets.
- You will work closely with the Consulting and Marketing teams to source speakers, promote the events and will coordinate communications and logistics for event delivery.
- You will source venues and guest speakers and manage the technical platforms involved in event delivery (Zoom, Teams, Survey Monkey, Menti and others).
- You will manage a range of relationships with sponsors, vendors, partners, speakers and delegates.
- You will work with third parties and manage event collateral, merchandise, invites and registration lists etc.
- You will manage the pre- event marketing and post-event activities (including invitation emails, attendee evaluations, and list management for follow up campaigns).
- You will be a confident user of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- You will analyse and evaluate event results and create marketing reports.
Although there is an outline of the role you can make it your own as we love to encourage freedom of thought and innovation. If you think we have missed something that you can bring to the role don't be shy in coming forward.
Objectives
- Provide an excellent delegate experience before, during and after each event
- Support Marketing by coordinating delegate communications and follow up pre and post event
- Handle and coordinate all event operations and speaker briefings
- Attend physical events when required (normally in Central London). Occasionally, these will be outside of standard office hours (i.e breakfast briefings or early evening drinks receptions)
What you’ll need to succeed
- Have you managed and coordinated successful events – both online and in person, both organised inhouse and through third parties?
- Have you demonstrated excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple events at one time?
- Are you a confident Excel/MS Office user?
- And have you ideally used Hubspot before?
