Training: Promoting inclusion allyship in the workplace

Home   /   Training   /   Promoting inclusion allyship in the workplace

Allyship in the workplace is imperative for cultivating a culture that is inclusive and equitable. It indicates a commitment to understanding and breaking down institutional barriers. When underrepresented groups lack allies, it can exacerbate feelings of exclusion and damage one’s sense of belonging in the workplace, resulting in lower morale, lower confidence and decreased job satisfaction – bad news for both employees and employers.

Allyship promotes collaboration, challenges biases and pushes the way forward for fairer opportunities. Effective allyship can have positive outcomes on business reputation by reducing discrimination, boosting employee morale, assisting career development and enhancing diversity and inclusion within an organisation: a win-win for all.
