Promoting inclusion in a global organisation

A global management consulting business approached FAIRER to help boost inclusivity across its worldwide business, which operates in over 50 countries and regions.

The challenge

Our client commissioned FAIRER Consulting to design and facilitate a series of inclusion-at-work programmes for offices across Western Europe – specifically Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Russia, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Other locations included the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Chile, Colombia.

What we did

Prior to designing and facilitating our programmes, we undertook a discovery exercise which involved connecting with local offices to identify key themes. This process involved inclusion surveys, focus group sessions and interviews with senior leaders.

We developed a suite of programmes to offer country-specific topics, as well as cross-border and role-specific learning.

  • 02 FAIRER learning materials

Topics included:

  • Practical steps for managers to promote fair and bias-free work cultures.
  • How to be an inclusive leader: a best practice guide.
  • How to promote inclusive recruitment.

The impact

Immediate return on investment from our partnership with our client consisted of:

  • Improved leadership awareness and competencies on DEI.
  • Increased skills for specific roles – HR, learning and development, recruitment, project managers and principals.
  • Defined location-specific actions to operationalise global DEI ambitions.
